About Alice Cartoons

Andrea Beizer is a Philadelphia based artist, cartoonist, architect/designer and teacher. She created "Alice" in the 1980's for the "Philadelphia Architect" a publication for the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Her friends and collegues have been encouraging her to bring "Alice" back to life. Due to the 25 year time span between "original" Alice and Alice "now", she is in the process of re-designing her for a more updated "look".

Hello world!

Alice” was officially born in 1984. She was published in the “Philadelphia Architect” from 1984 – 1989. In addition, she was also published in the “Manhattan Comic News” August 1990.

Of course, much has happened during her 25 year hiatus. Her creator, Andrea Beizer practiced architecture for over twenty-five years, taught at several art schools, created art work, exhibited artwork, and with much fanfare and encouragement from friends and colleagues has decided to breath life into “Alice” once again.
